تأسست مدارس أم القرى الأهلية للبنين في العام 1422هـ ، وكانت تضم المرحلة الإبتدائية والمرحلة المتوسطة ، ثم في عام 1424هـ إستطاعت المدرسة وبفضل من الله أن تؤسس المرحلة الثانوية ، إلى ان اصبحت المدارس بحمد الله من أكبر مدارس شرق الرياض والمدرسة تتبع مكتب التعليم بالروابي وأقسامها الأن :الابتدائي و المتوسط والثانوي
