أسست المدرسة عام 1395هـ ، وهو العام الذي استشهد فيه الملك فيصل يرحمه الله . فكانت تخليدا لذكرى رجل هو من خيرة رجال القرن العشرين .ولد بالرياض عام 1324هـ . نشأ في بيت جده نشأة صلاح و تقوى .وفي عام 1384 بويع ملكا للمملكة فكان حاكما عادلا وسياسيا ناجحا . ومن هذا كله استشعر مؤسس المدارس اسم القائد العظيم في تسميتها بهذا الاسم وفي اختيار شعارها .
فحرف الفاء هو الحرف الأول من اسم الفيصل وقد رسم حاضنا شعلة العلم وريشة الكتابة .

الرؤية :
أن تكون مدارسنا مرموقة في عالم المدارس الأهلية من خلال بيئة تربوية محفزة على التعلم والمنافسة في إطار مشاركة مجتمعية فاعلة .

الرسالة:
تميز في الأداء بتوفير الفرص الكافية والتقنيات الحديثة لإظهار القدرات والوصول بأبنائنا إلى المنافسة العالمية .
